Advocating for Global Vaccination with Shot@Life

Posted about 1 year ago by Christina Del salto

Shot@Life's spring advocacy push comes at a critical time for global health. A year after the COVID-19 pandemic began, more than 25 million children around the world missed routine immunizations – almost the population of Texas! This is the largest decline in nearly 30 years, leading to increased spread of viruses around the world, including polio, which was detected for the first time in decades in the U.S. and U.K. As Congress plans next year's budget, now is a critical moment to support and strengthen global childhood immunization programs.

From now through April 30, join us as we advocate for strong U.S. support for global vaccine programs. We will end by celebrating World Immunization Week during the last week of April. CLICK HERE TO SIGN PETITION

Thank you for taking part! Together, we can ensure that every child has a shot at a long, healthy life. Learn more about the other ways that you can advocate from home here: shotatlife.org/advocatetovaccinate.
