Autism Awareness Month

Posted about 12 years ago by Emily Petersen

A new report shows that increasing numbers of children in the U.S. are being diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimate that 1 in 88 children (1 in 54 boys and 1 in 152 girls) have an ASD. Raise awareness in your community about the special challenges for children and families living with ASD.
