As a Board Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, I have 18 years experience in care of the medically complex child. I specialize in the diagnosis, and management of severe asthma in the pediatric population. I am currently the clinical director for both a multi-disciplinary severe asthma clinic located at the children’s hospital, and a mobile asthma unit providing asthma care in a neighborhood of Chicago. While severe asthma is my passion; I am dedicated to helping families identify a cause for their child's respiratory problems such as chronic cough, and lung disease related to dysphasia and aspiration. As Manager for Advanced Practice Providers in Ambulatory Services, I work with leadership in 5 sub-specialty divisions to insure each APP is pursuing their career goals, and working at top of licensure.
